My first impression is that it's super solid. I have many heavy sneakers and rain boots, but the rack stands firm; it doesn't wobble when I open and close the compartments. 
It’s very convenient for daily use. Thanks to the enclosed sections, my shoes collect much less dust, especially by the doorway. The raised bottom is a huge plus too. Now I can easily sweep and clean the floor without having to move the entire bulky rack. Although it's DIY assembly, it was simple enough for me to handle alone. Overall, it has made life by the front door significantly easier
